Contour Networks Introduces AirJack 4 with New Secure Cellular Connectivity Plans, Reducing Total Cost of Connectivity (TCC) Up To 50%

ATLANTA, Georgia –  October 28, 2011 – Contour Networks today announced Contour AirJack 4, an all-new IP-to-cellular router, and new secure cellular service plans for owners of devices such as ATMs, POS, and kiosks designed to reduce the Total Cost of Connectivity (TCC) up to 50%.

“When it comes to winning business by owning and operating ATMs and other devices in the current state of economy, ATM and other device operators focus on minimizing TCC of each device, in order to maximize profits.  We address those needs with our unique solution that offers the lowest total pricing, the best customer support, and the only PCI certified private cellular network in the country,” says Marc Winn, CEO, Contour Networks.

Contour Networks provides secure cellular connectivity services to its customers who own and operate ATMs, POS, and kiosks since 2006 through its PCI-Compliant, private wireless connectivity using multiple nationwide cellular networks, 24x7 customer support, as well as a proprietary web-portal for remotely managing devices.

Contour’s new offering covers the all four phases of the lifecycle of owning and operating ATMs and other devices:

1) Minimum Initial Deployment Cost with Easy Payment Options;

2) Minimum Monthly Operating Cost with “No Overage Guarantee”;

3) No need to ever replace a router or pay overage charges because of hacker scans;

4) Minimum Maintenance Costs with 24x7 Customer Support and Online Device Management through Web Portal.

AirJack 4 supports major CDMA 3G cellular networks with nationwide coverage.  The router features five (5) RJ-45 100/10Mbps Ethernet ports and a firewall, and is configurable for back-up and for multi-WAN connectivity, making the product ideal for ATM, POS, kiosks and digital signage owners.

Systech and Contour Networks Collaborate on Dial to High Speed Cellular Solution

Megapath - November 18th 2008

ATLANTA – November 18, 2008 – Contour Networks, a leading provider of secure wireless connectivity over a private cellular network, announced an agreement with MegaPath, Inc., the leading provider of managed IP data, voice and security services in North America to deliver wireless connectivity throughout the United States. Contour Networks is now a key supplier of the underlying wireless infrastructure for the MegaPath Wireless Broadband connectivity service, which supplements MegaPath’s comprehensive terrestrial footprint to deliver virtually 100 percent nationwide coverage.

MegaPath Wireless Broadband allows customers to provide all their distributed locations with secure Internet access and data communications from a single vendor. The service delivers wireless back-up capabilities in the event of a network outage, as well as a Quick Start option that enables customers to leverage the wireless network, while awaiting their physical broadband network to be provisioned.

MegaPath required the ability to provide secure, cost-effective wireless connectivity as a complement to its existing services and maintain industry leadership. “Contour Networks ability to provide a private and secure wireless network at a competitive price allows MegaPath to accelerate our wireless rollout while maximizing customer value,” said Beth Tyebjee, Senior Vice President, Marketing at MegaPath. “Contour Networks’ wireless service allows us to connect to locations that are unreachable or too expensive to support using traditional high-speed offerings.”

Managed IP communications is an industry segment of significant value to Contour Networks. “The partnership with MegaPath fits extremely well into our business model by combining the private and secure network with customized pricing and billing solutions. We believe the partnership will provide the ability to expand beyond our traditional installed base to include other opportunities in which we can eliminate the need for managing VPNs and improving our customers’ operational efficiencies,” said Robert Guglielmi, Contour Networks Chief Marketing Officer.
